Some few days ago we were on the search for records , we went round and round asking people if they know somebody who still has some records for us to buy , we run into some guys telling us that tomorrow i will find somebody , as the day passed and we went home emptyhanded , the guy called us to say that he knows somebody and that he is ready to sell his records to us . So the next day early morning we went to see that guy and he told us ''tomorrow'' i will get them out for you , ok , so we asked him why he cant bring them out today , he said : they are in my room and there are alot of things infront that i need to move so i cant do it today as i open my 'spot' drinkingspot , in Ghana ''spot'' means Bar , while trying to convince him he said we should come back by 18h in the afternoon , it was 9 in the morning , ..
Because of traffic we didnt want to drive back home and hanged around in that village , asking more people and walking around sightseeing , so by 18h we went to the guy and he still didnt find the time to look for the records he said !! :/ , ...
So we spend the whole day waiting for him very curious and than , nothing...
I was a bit 'annoyed' and incisted he should try for us , as e spend the whole day in town , waiting for him , because he told us ! so he said we should come back around 22h in the evening as than he was going to close his spot , we waited again and by 22h the guy told us again , ''tomorrow '' , oooh man ... :/ anyway no other option , ..
The next day evening time 22h , we went there again , he came with a plastic bag filled with old grammophone 78rpm records without sleeves while we showed him the types we are looking for , lp's and 45's , not 78's ..

there were also 4 american records inside and 1 African , i couldnt believe my eyes , it was FUnkY Rob :) , no sleeve and not tomuch scratches , infact when we came home i immediatly cleaned it with 76° pharmaceutical alcohol and putted it on my turntable , KABOOOM , NO SKIPS and MINIMAL noise... playing infact REALLY great !!! This is 1 of 500 copies made in ghana in 1977 on Essiebons label... so all the waiting and sweating and traffic wasnt for nothing at all , for us to find this real Holy Graal Record !!! aaaah africa is Hot but suffering has its reward we learned !
